It's Beer's Birthday!

Well, since I'm on the ass end of the International Date Line, it'll be Beer's Birthday tomorrow, but in God's Own Sunburnt Country it is already

(Yes, I'm a dork who is patriotic sans nationalistic wankery for two countries the whole world but especially two beloved countries. Go me.)

Also, I had an appointment today for a sonogram of my thyroid. It was rather uncomfortable (I can't stand anything touching the front of my throat at all and she had to press down a bit to get the picture, though she was very nice and played Enya on her stereo and tried to be accommodating), but it was neat to see the camera images when I was able to look in that direction.

I should know what the doctor learned from those pictures in a few days. In the meantime, I play Hurry Up And Wait, which I excel at. :P
