orbitaldiamonds: fatso "reading" a Calvin & Hobbes comic ([ fatso ] some light reading)
Going down the list...

Italicized are the ones I haven't started.
Bold are ones I'm working on.

Lofty Goals 2010.

1. Pack up all books I'm not going to read before PCSing.
2. Cut up 200 magazines. (0/200)
3. Type up 100 sets of book notes. (0/100)
4. Scan 10 journals and/or random notes books. (0/10)
5. Pay off student loans.
6. Pay off car.
7. Finish red-white-and-blue blanket and shades-of-blue blanket.

8. Exercise for at least half an hour, at least three times a week.
  • This one's a fail for January, but I have ordered a new DDR to replace the one I gave the Reids for Christmas. I'm looking forward to dance-dancing again!
9. Start and finish 10 new art projects. (1/10)
  • I've started a collage notebook for Fizzy.
  • I've got another collage notebook and maybe a quilt still in the idea stages.
10. Sort/organize/make pretty all files on my computer.
11. Not buy a new book until finishing two that I already own.
  • So far, so good, though my rules are pretty lax. I've been reading Christopher Pike's Thirst series, which is six books in two volumes. I finished the second two books of the first volume and counted that as two books, towards the second volume which I counted as one book for purchasing purposes, and I bought it before I'd finished earning it (heh heh, oops), and now I've finished the first two books of the second volume and am nearly done with the third, so I've earned another book. :)
12. Take weekly self-portraits. (4/52)

13. Get a passport.
14. Stay caught up with my LJ flist.
  • So far, so good! I've been within a day for the past week. :D
15. Write 200,000 words, either ABJR or Luna 'verses. (0/200,000)
16. Experiment in the kitchen, and write up a personal cookbook. With pictures.
  • I've been experimenting, but I haven't written any of it up yet ('cause discussing said experimentations with Fizzy doesn't count as a write-up :P).
17. Learn how to knit.
  • I do intend to, though. I want to play with chunky yarns!

Especially what's going on in the comments. I'm asking because I've discussed kangaroo leather and kangaroo meat with Fizzy, and the above article seems very American PETA types judging Australia by American PETA standards.

Thoughts?

And on an unrelated note, I'd like to thank Tria, Olive, and especially Fizzy for putting up with me. All the time, but especially this last week or so with the running out of Lexapro. Sorry about the crazy. *hugs you all*
