O hai. And Chris! And One-Stop Shop ideas.
Argh, I slept in too lae. Missed Chris AND Fizzy. DAMMIT. I just didn't feel like getting up. But I have been for about an hour now, and I'm not kicking myself too much. Dunno if that's the meds or the realization that hello, all I did was sleep in, chill out.
Anyhow, Chris should be home in a few weeks! **bouncebounce** (Wowie, I have a lot of work to do!)
...
And now to my One-Stop Shop idea. I thought about it more (and talked with Fizzy about it more), and we both agree that doing something that big and comprehensive would be biting off more than I can chew, especially since I've never been more than a worker bee (which is my preferred place, to be honest) when it comes to volunteer work.
SO...
What I want to do is the accessibility website. It's something I can do from anywhere (an important consideration for an army wife), and it's something that'd have a worldwide benefit, because why limit such a site to the US?
And I want to do this. And since I'm employed for a bit, I can actually put money I earned myself into starting it! Because I'll have to buy the domain, and find someone who'll make the forms and stuff to submit information (and to make it accessible, of course!)...not sure what I'll do about advertising yet, outside of disability sites and comms.
Ideas?
Including names. AccessList, AccessWorld, maybe something more creative? Help?
---
And by the time I finished this, Fizzy was back online. Yays!
